Every time GGG fights it's an event that stops the boxing world and increasingly pricks the ears of the wider sporting public. This time GGG faces a legitimate test against Danny Jacobs, who himself has 12 straight stoppage victories.
Jacobs and his fans were given reason for hope as they watched the smaller Kell Brook have success against GGG early in his last outing. The question to be answered in this bout is how much damage can Jacobs do IF he has those sorts of moments....?
Personally I think we'll see a different GGG here. He will adapt and evolve, like he did against the powerful David Lemieux. I doubt we'll see the GGG that allowed a 'street fight' with Brook, but instead we'll see a patient and calculating beast.
Jacobs is a top class middleweight - a slick boxer, a great mover and a powerful puncher - but GGG is potentially an all-time great middleweight. My prediction is that he'll take another step down that road by stopping a brave opponent here.
